Teacher Mentoring Programme

Up skill your teachers with ACES Education bespoke teacher mentoring programme. We provide 1-1 training that ensures teachers have the key skills, knowledge and confidence to consistently deliver outstanding Physical Education.

What teachers say about the programme:

"The most beneficial thing for me was having structured PE training. Being shown how to organise a lesson and break it down into its different parts was great. The use of routines, which are easy to invest into the class, was good too."

"The support and guidance has been invaluable throughout the mentoring process. I have really gained confidence when teaching PE. I know the pupils certainly enjoyed their PE more as they were provided with more opportunities to be active in their lessons"

Active Learning

Physical activity has a positive impact on academic performance. Active Learning partnered with Tagtiv8 literacy and numeracy allows pupils Years 1-6 to explore, engage and be challenged by the national curriculum whilst in motion.

Tagtiv8 Numbers - allows the learners to play various active games in order to develop fluency, reasoning and problem-solving.

Tagtiv8 Word - players collaborate or compete as individuals, pairs or small groups/teams in various active games that develop an understanding of phonics, spelling and more.

Competitions

It is incredibly important for the whole ACES team to create competitive and inclusive opportunities to be physically active. In a climate where inactivity is on the rise we want to provide your children with opportunities to develop a lifelong love of movement for their physical and mental health.

We do this via: Our lesson planning for all topics, which culminates in an intra (within school) competition or performance. Working with clusters of varying size to deliver programmes of events linking to specific needs and School Games Organisers (SGO’s). Supporting and guiding our schools in achieving the best School Games Mark.
